Chris's Wednesday "Belli Challenge" - Scraps

This week's "Belli Challenge" on Chris's web-site is scraps - how do you use all of the leftovers? This card is using the Mosaic Technique that I learned on the Stampin' Up Cruise that I just got back from. This challenge was the perfect chance to try it. To do this technique you place your little scraps onto the sticky side of sticker paper (from an office supply store). Next you pour the embossing powder on top and pour the excess off. The powder will stick to the sticky part of the sticker sheet. Then heat it using your embossing tool. I found that the metallic embossing powder worked best. The other supplies that I used were: Blue Bayou Card-stock, Soft Sky Card-stock, Not Quite navy Card-stock & Ink, Silver Brads and Embossing Powder, White Taffeta Ribbon, and the Phrases for a Friend stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
