Wednesday's "Belli" Challenge - place settings
This week's Belli Challenge is table decorations for either Christmas or Thanksgiving. I made this pumpkin using 1" x 6" strips of Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper. I put a brad through each end and spread out the strips to make a ball. I added Wild Wasabi Designer Paper (discontinued) leaves made with my Big Shot and vines. To make the vines curly, I just wrapped the skinny strips of paper around a pencil. The tag is made of Naturals Ivory Card Stock stamped with a personalized stamp and sponged around the edges with Chocolate Chip Ink. I used both of the tag punches and attached the tag with a glue dot. To see more projects from this week's Belli Challenge go to these blogs:

Sweet and Sassy Release Party Challenges
Last night Sweet and Sassy Stamps had there release party on their blog. There were challenges and a grand prize - which I didn't win :( This was the final challenge a grid-design card. I used the Autumn Blessing stamp set. My friend Chris Dickinson did the artwork for this stamp set!!!! I used my Scor-pal to make the grid (you can use a ruler and a stylus tool or the scoring blade on your cutter) I used Really Rust, Ivory Naturals, and Close to Cocoa Card Stock, Black Staz-On Ink, and Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon. I used my ink pads to color in the leaves. I used the Canvas background stamp from Stampin' Up for the background. I also used copper brads. I had never done a grid card before...it was fun! Chris took a break from camping to join me which was also fun.
