Butterfly/Flower Card

This week's challenge for Our Creative Corner is Butterflies. This card is made with the Mixed Bunch set from the Occasions Mini Catalog along with the matching punch. I used Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Pool Part, and Basic Black for the colors. I also used the small tags (to make the butterfly's body) and white satin ribbon. The DSP is from the In-Color set and from this month's Summer Smooches Promotion.

Wall Art




I made these wall hangings to put on my stamp room wall using the Lattice Die, the Daisy Die, and the Butterfly Embosslits in the big shot. I also used a corduroy brad (discontinued) and some discontinued designer paper. I used Early Espresso, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White card stock.

Valentine "Belli" Challenge Card


This "belli challenge" is to make a valentine. I used the Just My Type set from the mini catalog, Real Red Card Stock, Regals Designer Paper, the Heart Punch, the Bird Punch (for the branch), the Boho Blossom Punch (for the flower), a brad, Whisper White Card Stock, Certainly Celery Card Stock, and Basic Black Ink.

OCC Challenge - Masculine Card


This is my take on the challenge for this week's OCC Challenge. I used the Leaves of a Tree stamp from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used Markers on the tree. The colors are Early Espresso, More Mustard, Old Olive,Vanilla, and Cajun Craze. I also used brown ribbon, and the Houndstooth Embossing Folder in my Bigshot.

OCC Challenge - Gift Item



The challenge this week for OCC is making a gift. These are the place "cards" that I will put on my Thanksgiving table this year. For the place setting, I used the #2 box in my Big Shot. The #2 Box holds 12 Hershey's Nuggets perfectly. I used Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, and More Mustard card stock, the leaf die and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder in the Big Shot, the same colors of ink sponged on each leaf, and natural hemp. The designer paper is Autumn Spice (found in the Holiday Mini Catalog). The smaller box is the Matchbox Die. It fits 4 Hershey's Nuggets.

Christmas in July - Challenge Card




This card is a triple challenge card. The colors that I used are from the Cutain Call (act 41). The Theme is from the weekly Our Creative Corner Challenge. (the theme is Christmas in July - I'm a day late). The sketch is from the weekly Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge (occsc26) I used the Snowflake Embossing Folder in my Big Shot, a felt snowflake, gems, and some snowflake embellishments that I picked up when I went to the CHA Craft Show this week.

Pals Paper Arts Challenge - K.I.S.S.


The Paper Pal's have the perfect challenge for my busy day. Their challenge this week is to make a card and K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, sweetie). This card is a quick & simple card. I used the Designer Paper (Sending Love Specialty) from the Occasions Mini Catalog. This paper even has the glitter in it (which saves that step). I put the Regal Rose Card Stock through my Big Shot using the Dots Embossing Folder. I added the Black Grosgrain Ribbon and Vanilla Card Stock. The tag was cut using a Nestibilities Die in the Big Shot. The greeting is from the Together Forever Set. I also added pearls to dress it up.

The card stock is Certainly Celery & Regal Rose (SU). The designer paper is from an unknown source. I used a Prima Flower and a brad as my embellishments.

This week's Three Clovers Challenge is using an Animal Stamp. This skunk stamp is by Whipper Snapper. I used my Copic Markers to color in the image. I made the greeting on the computer. The card stock is Real Red & Basic Black (SU). The background is a retired SU background. The punches are also from Stampin' Up.

This week's Diva Coffee Break Challenge is using your Big Shot. I used the Flower, Daisies #2 Die to make this flowerpot card. I used Brocade Blue & Night of Navy for the flower, Mellow Moss, an Oval Punch & a Crimper for the Leaves, and Really Rust & the Scallop Border Punch for the flowerpot.

SNSS Blog Hop CAS Challenge


Tonight was the release party for Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps new releases. One of the challenges was to make a Clear and Simple Card (CAS). For this card you were supposed to have very little embellishments and very few layers. I used the His Eyes are on the Sparrow set, Rose Red Ink, Whisper White Card Stock, Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon, and Bittersweet Designer Paper (by Basic Grey).

Copic Color Challenge/Chris's SNSS Bird Challenge



This week is the SNSS Blog Hop and Release Party. The DT for SNSS are placing challenges this week for prizes! Chris's challenge is using a stamp with birds on it. For this card, I used His Eye is on the Sparrow set. I also used the Copic Marker colors in this week's Copic Color Challenge. I also used Basic Grey Bittersweet Paper, Chocolate Chip & Pretty in Pink Card Stock (SU), the Tag Corner Punch (SU), Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon (SU), and Brown Brads.

This week's Three Clovers Challenge is making a card with something to eat on it. The image on this card is from Denami Design. I used my Copic Markers to color, Fiskers Scallop Edge Punch, DCWV Designer Card Stock, TLC (Now Breezy Designs) Rub-Ons (for the greeting), SU Certainly Celery Card Stock, & Neenah Solor White Card Stock.

Three Clovers Challenge


This week's Three Clovers Challenge is using a purple and glitter to make a birthday card. this card is made using a stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs, Lovely Lilac Card Stock, Designer Paper that was given to me at the scrapbook camp that I was at, and Copic Markers. For the glitter, I used Stickles. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KERRY!

Wednesday's "Belli" Challenge - Bookmarks



This week's Belli Challenge is bookmarks. For these simple bookmarks, I used Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy & Chocolate Chip Inks & Card Stock. Sale-A-Bration Card/Three Clovers Challenge


This is one of the cards that we made at my last stamp camp. It also goes with this week's Three Clovers Challenge - using decorative paper. We used the Sale-A-Bration Set, Botanical Blooms. The designer paper that I used was Bella Rose. The colors are Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Whisper White & Riding Hood Red. I also used square punches. All of the products used are from Stampin' Up.

Three Clovers #2 Challenge



This is week #2 for the Three Clovers Challenges. This week's challenge is B+B+B - which means Blue + Brown + Buttons. For this card I used Baja Breeze Card Stock, Chocolate Chip Card Stock,Twill, Ink & Buttons, Creamy Caramel Designer Paper, Scallop Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Natural Hemp, and Really Retro (for the words).
